Touch is a great healer and dogs know this. Stroking a dog can be therapeutic for people it is also beneficial to the dog. Shiatsu is a healing therapy that can help to improve circulation – injuries may heal faster because of improved circulation.

Training Reminders – The Send Away & Stay.
Thanks to all those who came out for a group dog walk last week – We hope they all enjoyed their bath afterwards especially Elle who started the puddle diving – because this was not a class the fees will be paid to charity.
We really enjoyed seeing all the dogs playing together and will do this again soon but not as part of a class, just for fun – perhaps on a Sunday Morning when the weather forecast is fine & dry.
Let us know what time & location fits best for you?

April 16th, 2009Falkirk Council promoting responsible dog owners, the superb ‘Green Dog Walkers’ scheme and sharing our love of alliteration.
Canine Capers Is The Place For Proud Pooches!
One of the largest gatherings in Central Scotland of proud pooches and their owners is taking place next month as hundreds of dog owners and their pets are expected to descend on Grangemouth’s Zetland Park to celebrate Falkirk Council’s first ever canine gathering.
The free event is taking place on Sunday 26th April between 12pm and 4pm and will feature a number of games, competitions and events all designed to show off the best and most attractive features in the dog world and at the same time get across a message about responsible dog ownership.
Some of the attractions include a dog agility course; a competition for the best trick, dog eyes, most dashing dog and bonniest bitch, biscuit catcher and even the dog with the waggiest tail! Owners can just register for each competition on the day. Prizes and rosettes for all the participants and champions taking part.
In addition to the competitions there will be displays of dog agility as well as Indian Runner Ducks (The Quack Commandos) showing their duck dexterity.
Should be a great day out – big thanks in advance to Falkirk Council
